If your husband says no, then its a NO.
If your father says no, then its a NO.
If your brother/father-in-law/brother-in-law/… any male member of the family gives a statement then that must uphold.
And when a Mother/ Sister/ Daughter/, most importantly, a Girl; the ‘SHE’ makes a statement, its nothing more than a joke.
Because we are caught in a vicious circle imposed by the patriarchal society. Of course, we’ve got rights, you’ve given us freedom but WHERE DO WE HAVE OUR SAY?
Because at the end of the day, despite economic prosperity and educational development, decision making is ALWAYS done by the male members of the family.
